My painted "Waltham" line of chairs are based on 18th century New England Windsors but with modern comfort in mind. My trademark "Floating Back" design is the main reason that these chairs are so comfortable.

All spindles, legs, and stretchers are shaped on the shaving horse rather than turned, yielding a warm down-to-earth feel. The Waltham chairs are finished in milk paint, shellac, and wax. The result of this finish is one of traditional richness and durability for everyday use.

I also offer customers a more modern "Cod Rib" line of cherry and ash chairs, rockers, and settees. These have a more spit and polish look and a natural oil and wax finish.
