All the chairs that I make are made with colonial era techniques and tools.
I make all the parts and finish the chairs myself.
I've been a woodworker since 2002, taking chairmaking classes at The Windsor
Institute with Mike Dunbar, and the Windsor Academy with Bill Gullberg, Jr.
I've also studied cabinet making, furniture design, and hand tool joinery
at the Wooden Chips Studio with Don Washow, and Milk Paint Application at
the Windsor Chair Shop with Carol Quick.
Along with Windsor chairs, I offer a wide variety of furniture and
accessories, including shaker boxes and baskets. All my work is finished
using milk paint, hand rubbed oils, and waxed for a soft patina that looks
like a time-worn antique.
